Klaras story
Klara was found in late March 2019 (when she was about 7 or 8 months old) in rural Serbia with her spine broken (was probably hit by a bus or a lorry) and her hind legs torn and bloody from dragging herself on her front legs for two weeks. She had both her hind legs amputated, as they were of no use and were causing continual infections. She was put into a reputable shelter until one day she went on to her forever home with Hanna and the Raggie Dogs.
Klara is the most loving calm girl you would ever wish to meet. She settled in really well at the retreat. As all pups with these sorts of injuries they are prone to bladder infections, she is on a special feed to prevent a crystal build up in her bladder. We have a constant battle with her tail getting damaged, she is a labrador so quite heavy and it gets sat on and scraped, keeping a bandage on her is another story. Klara loves going for a race around on her wheels, after a wobbly start she races around like a crazy pup.
At the moment she is babysitting Eddie, they have bonded really well, they are like an old married couple. She is a delight to have in the Raggie Family.
Klara is still looking for some sponsors. She receives € 30,00 per month now and it would be wonderful if she could be fully sponsored (€ 40,00) so please consider this lovely girl, she so deserves it.
